About This Activity
Boston United Volleyball Club is a youth volleyball organization, offering a broad progression of programs for players from beginners through advanced club athletes. Younger players in grades K–9 can start with weekly youth clinics focused on fundamentals, while older athletes can move into fall leagues, camps, skills clinics, beach volleyball, and competitive girls' and boys' club teams. The girls' club is divided into five levels—National, Northeast, Select, Regional and Academy—so families can find a level that matches their child's experience and desired commitment.
For parents, one of Boston United's biggest advantages is the ability to stay within the same organization as a child's skills and interest grow. The club's Academy offers a lighter-commitment option for U13–U18 girls, while the higher-level teams involve multiple practices per week and regional or national tournaments. The club also operates a dedicated Wayland facility with three volleyball courts and offers programming beyond the traditional club season, including summer camps, clinics and beach volleyball. In short, it's a good fit for families looking for everything from a low-pressure introduction to volleyball to a serious competitive pathway, although the higher tiers require a significant time commitment.

Our Take
Boston United Volleyball Club has developed a strong reputation as one of the premier volleyball clubs in Eastern Massachusetts. Parent feedback consistently highlights experienced coaches, a positive club culture, excellent player development, and a genuine commitment to helping athletes succeed both on and off the court.
The club appears to offer a well-defined pathway from beginner clinics and camps to high-level competitive volleyball, making it a strong option for families seeking long-term development. As with most competitive club sports, families should be prepared for the financial investment and travel demands that accompany higher-level teams, but overall parent sentiment is overwhelmingly positive regarding the quality of coaching, community, and athlete growth.
