Kids' Robotics (with iCode) is an engaging, instructor-led workshop series for children ages 6 to 9. In each session, participants delve into the world of robotics using the VEX platform, engaging in hands-on activities that teach fundamental engineering concepts and enhance problem-solving skills. Children collaborate to design, build, and program simple robots, fostering creativity and introducing them to STEM basics. Each session is tailored to be a stand-alone program, ensuring a comprehensive experience regardless of attendance frequency (though your child may love it so much, it will be hard to keep them away from future sessions!).

Space Week, hosted by the Space Consortium, is a multi-day event (APril 21st - 27th) dedicated to celebrating and advancing space science, exploration, and innovation. The schedule features keynote presentations by industry leaders, interactive workshops, movie screenings, and learning opportunities aimed at fostering collaboration across the space community. For kids, this event provides a unique platform to learn about the latest discoveries, think critically about emerging trends, and help shape the future of space exploration.
Except for events hosted at ticketed venues - like cinemas (e.g., the Brattle Theatre), museums (like the MIT Museum, etc.), or expert conferences (e.g., The New Space Age conference)—all MA Space Week events are free, in person, open to all, and require filling out this information form. You'll also be entered for a chance to win their 2025 sweepstakes!
BONUS! For super engaged learners, join the 2025 Hackathon, where contestants put together a business plan and short video about a solution that address the question "How to Improve Life Off Earth?"
